There's nothing innovative or cutting-edge about Temple Veil's music. But this duo from Florida bring to the table songwriting craft, DeRock Swaggert's rich and powerful voice and considerable musical versatility. On this, the group's third EP, they move effortlessly from the Americana-tinged opener "Give His Love Away" to the funk rock of "Radiate". When they visited Britain last year they spoke about this Nashville-recorded project so I'm pleased to report that these five songs are as good as anything they've recorded. I particularly enjoyed the two tracks co-written with Nashville hitmaker Bryan White and the love and passion that Temple Veil communicate in their engaging pop rock will surely connect with all those get to hear them.
