The Atlanta, Georgia-based singer here delivers an R&B song which conveys the message of learning from your mistakes and turning losses into victories. The verses contain a rhythmic acoustic guitar backing which is joined by a synthesized bass and sharp drum beat. The semi-sung vocals are average and are a bit too hip-hop for my tastes. I think they need to be softer and less in the rap style. However I like the lyrics.
