For a moment I thought of inserting this review in the Hymnody section. But I doubt that many hymnal-toting traditionalists would appreciate what the NGM/Engage artist does with Horatio Gates Spafford's "It Is Well With My Soul". The beautiful hymn is given an undulating groove courtesy of the decks of Doug E Ross while some delicate acoustic guitar and a rap from M C Ebonii set off Suse's vocals which liquidly curl around the melody. The EP also features a Doug E Ross Remix and a tender version of the old Julie Miller ballad "How Could You Say No". Suse is clearly an exceptional singing talent.
