A darker, less conventional and much more interesting release than the band’s ‘Blink And Miss It’ EP recorded as My Kid Sister. “Enemy Of The State” has almost a nu metal vibe while lead singer Toby Hawkins howling over the belching vortex of guitars conveys plenty of passionate angst. The slower “A Friend Of Mine” and the opener “1000 Feet” are also well above average songs indicating a wide range of rock influences. All in all, an excellent young band, this four-song item shows a group well on the way to finding their own distinctive style.
