This is straightforward, no-frills grunt metal from a new Welsh band. Raw shouting, power chords (but a distinct lack of catchy riffs) and heavy double-muting, with only one ill-conceived foray into (pop-punk) melody on “Guard Your Thoughts”. Still Small Voice sound like a very young and relatively inexperienced band, so still have plenty of time to make a more confident and original record than this.
