What can I say? Good honest pop music and very refreshing with it too. Steven has been doing his stuff for 10 years and this tape without a doubt shows the mature songwriting you might expect from such longevity. Three songs are included, the poppier "Not Understood" and "Coming To My Senses" sandwiching the thoughtful "Moving On". Errr, well, although that is the "thoughtful" one, each lyric shows the possibility of a compassionate side to pop songs we'd all like to hear more of. In spite of the fact that there is only Steven's name on the sleeve there is a good tight feel from the band with some nice, jangly guitar work. As I say, good honest stuff, not exactly shattering the mould of popular music but enjoyable none the less.
