Why is it that the Christian music scene in the US seems to have absolutely no trouble in producing a never ending stream of fresh faced boys with plenty of guitars, tunes and plenty of energy? Not that I'm complaining. Anyway, to sum this recording simply it is just so much good fun. From the poppy kick-off of "Student Driver" all the way around and back again to "Gone Fishin'" and with a gentle letting down of "Finish Last". Phew, what a wild ride. They sing "Life is good, eternal life is better" and on the evidence here they seem to be working hard to contribute to the first part, but always with an eye on the second part. Pop punk beautifully executed.
