Reviewed by Dave Drodge If you were disappointed that the last single from Beverley Thomas and Osmond Lloyd Junior didn't contain much to reveal their faith, fear no more. For this song is about as positive and gospel as you could expect to find within mainstream dance music. The lyrics talk of finding our strength in life and in love through the "Spirit Inside", with backing singers reinforcing the idea at every turn. And what's more, the song comes packaged with the best set of remixes you will probably hear all year, from the likes of Serious Rope, CJ Mackintosh, Bump and Marshall Jefferson. Each mix is refreshingly different, although pop lovers may not fully appreciate the longer ones. The best mixes for me are "CJ's Club Mix", which has some great ideas and doesn't sound overlong at nine minutes, and the "Marshall Jefferson Mix", which is typical Marshall Jefferson, very simple and very addictive, with wonderful vocalizing not found in any other versions. Quite simply, anyone with a passion for dance music, or indeed anyone wanting to take up aerobics for the summer should investigate without further ado.
