This 2012 release was born out of Dan Leone's desire to write and record music as a way to continue his own walk of faith as well as reach others with the message of grace and forgiveness in a country where the Christian message is rarely heard. The songs are well written, Dan handling the music and Miriam Lili - the keyboard player - handling the lyrics. The songs are not badly produced with Dan aiming at "classic rock" and it is certainly has an '80s rock feel with screaming guitar lines underlain with piano and synths pushed along with a solid upbeat rhythm section, particularly their rendition of "How Great Thou Art". However, after a few songs the busy arrangements get a little fatiguing and the tracks start blurring into each other - even the closing track "Call To Prayer" with its Arabic prayer call introduction then moves back into the same vein as all the other songs with the same vocal sounds and effects used everywhere. Still worth a listen if you like your rock '80s style.
