Anchor have imported this tape from Israel and a tip of the hat to them for introducing us to this vivacious Messianic praise group. Sos Asis demonstrate all that's unique about Jewish music. A small vocal ensemble performs precise, death-defying vocal gymnastics, the musicians zip along in time-honoured style, the songs are incredibly infectious and the whole is a glorious display of the colour and excitement that turns most run of the mill worship tapes a whiter shade of pale by comparison. The delightful song "Hodu L'Adonai" seems to be a favourite in this circle, here it's given a wonderful rendition featuring children's voices initially, then a full choral sound. Superb music this, oh and there's English translation on the lyric sheet. A gem! Get your cheque book out.
