Beautiful, truly beautiful. There are no better words to describe this song by the extremely talented Californian singer/songwriter. I have to give it the top rating as it evoked the same emotional response as did my first hearing of Eva Cassidy singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" on the day that she died. It reduced me almost to tears. They do say that music has a way of touching the soul and it is never truer than "Peace". HM magazine cites her songs as being "as scriptural as they are emotionally resplendent, as deeply worshipful as they are genuinely artistic" and they are not wrong. Sherri states that "Peace" was one of the first songs she had written and is touched that it is so often requested, to the point that she has released it as a one track CD to make it more accessible. I have every intension of using this track as part of the next service I am leading. "Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10.
