Acoustic music with a Celtic flavour from a lady who is a non-stipendiary priest and a retired teacher. The production quality is excellent (there's a little bit of reverb on the vocals, giving a "live" feel to the recording), and Shelia's voice is clear and expressive. The backing musicians (take a bow, Les Watts, Pete Scott and Gerry O'Hanlon) add to the atmosphere with some sensitive playing, and the result is very acceptable indeed. Sheila tells me that all profits from the sale of this and her other album 'Called To Serve' go to charities at home and abroad, so you could do a lot worse than sending for this CD.
