The Dallas-based band deliver a gem with this release which exudes energy and passion. Gutsy crunching guitars and ripping solos are well produced with sleek production. Beautifully picked acoustic guitars with vibrant bass lines enhance tracks like the melodious "Always". The rock vocals are tight in harmony and Joseph Rojas can sing a great range with no strain while his lyrics powerfully convey how much God has changed him. The crisp production gives a clear road for every instrument to be appreciated and there is still some harder rock appeal with the heavier "Awake" and light scream track of "Last Regret". Guitar riffs reflective of Switchfoot's "Stars" and comparisons to New Found Glory could be made to some of the vocals on "Broken Buildings". Those preferring the more AOR laid back rock, highlights are "On My Way Home", "Undone" and "Always" with tight knit vocals and catchy chorus hooks. I've finally awakened to Seventh Day Slumber.
