This is the second EP release from the Nashville band's first album and I can't wait to get hold of it. 'Breaking The Noise EP' begins in a mist of electronic fairy dust before a strong vocal emerges supported by a plaintive piano figure, all contributing to a superb song. In truth, "Breaking The Noise" is a powerful rock anthem which could easily be a major international hit if it ever gets the exposure. After such a fine track it's a mystery as to why they followed with the second song "Come On" which is rather a simplistic Europop track better suited to the discos of Serbia. Thankfully the track breaks into a rock interlude with real drums, before kicking back with a sequenced neo-dance rhythm. The third track "Anchor" recovers the EP with decent power chords, crunching riffs, and strong Christian lyrics that God anchors us down in a world where the tide tries to pull us down.
