Sandra is no newcomer to recording. She was once a member of reggae team Sister Love and more recently hit soul group Tongue In Cheek. But don't expect a slice of gospel lovers rock or something seriously funky. On this, her first album produced and arranged by keyboards/guitarist Adam Court, Sandra sings hymns, like "Blessed Assurance" and "What A Friend" mixed up with six of her own compositions. Considering the obvious limitations of the budget Mr Court does a good enough job with the production/programming but most of the songs are dull melodically and simple expressions of love for Jesus lyrically. Viewed as a worship album it just about passes muster but Sandra needs better songs and a bigger recording budget.
