Sandra Moon Johnson is from Huntsville, Alabama, and has been singing gospel and country music since the days when she sat on her father's knee. Now that it's easier to produce your own CDs that's what she's done, bringing us 13 songs very much in the country gospel field. The songs are all quite simple and would often make the basis of a good chorus for congregational singing. The best of the bunch is probably the title track which has a more contemporary feel. "Come To Me" is a lilting country ballad while "Give It Up" is driven with encouragement. A number of the songs have above average lyrics, encompassing gospels truths and offering encouragement, "My Father", "Shout It" and "Let Him Out" for example, but unfortunately they could be better sung at times, as for example with "Offerings Of His Love", which reminded me of Psalty to be honest. And as is often the case with self-produced material, the original sound is a bit thin.
