Sam Sacco was one of the rare artists in the CCM scene back in the late 80's. His songs were catchy but more importantly spoke of issues that required the listner to think and evaluate their own opinions and actions. The music always had a distinct NY/NJ feel that was very different than what was coming out of Nashville at the time. He played in the day where CCM paved the way for the newer generation. Unfortunately alot has been forgotten.
