Don't think I've ever met a band that was totally happy with a finished album no matter how much time they've spent on it. This is especially true with early recordings where there is less money and experience thrown into the recording process. How cool it must be if you are able to re-record a piece of your band's history. It's been done before of course but Saint are the latest '80s rock band to do it. Clean production doesn't mellow any of the thrusting rock that's on display here. Their hair may be shorter and thinner but they've still got the leather, the studs and the attitude! They are a living anachronism but Saint sound like they're having fun creating grinding metal like "Warriors Of The Son", "Vicar Of Fate" and "Killers And The Destroyers". Nothing original here but as a rock fan, it works for me! Now where did I put my studded leather vest? I was sure I'd put left it hanging in the back of the wardrobe.
