HM magazine described Saint as playing "skin-blistering hard music in the hey day of Christian metal." This album from 1986 has been much loved by metalheads ever since its vinyl release on Pure Metal Records and Retroactive are serving nostalgists and younger headbangers by its re-issue. Lyrically, 'Time's End' is not exactly a barrel of laughs, dealing rather negatively with the ultimate destruction of the earth and with no explicit reference to Christ. However, there is some searing guitar work from John Mahan and with an approach pitched somewhere between Iron Maiden and Judas Priest this will still find a niche audience.
