This beautifully packaged album from Retroactive has quite a history. It was originally released as 'The Mark' in 2006 when Saint's longtime songsmith and bassist Richard Lynch wrote a set of songs based on the final book of the Bible. Unfortunately, the original release suffered from a poor mix. In 2011 the original tapes were put in the hands of Jared Knowland, the man responsible for the recording and mix of Saint's acclaimed 2009 album 'Hell Blade'. Jared got to work in the studio and this is the result. As the sleevenote says, "a big album with a big sound" and all the things that these fiery metallers are good at - savage guitar lines, gutsy vocals and thunderous drums - come through loud and clear on songs like "Ride To Kill", "On And On" and "Bowls Of Wrath". Recommended to all lovers of old school metal.
