Gareth Hargreaves is a guitar tutor who's decided to make a dance recording. He's gone and got himself a sampler, assembled a pile of preaching tapes and selecting some evocative extracts from the likes of Tony Campolo on which to build up some dance tracks. It's been done before though I for one really like the idea of making preaching relevant to club culture but lumpen and unimaginative programming, far too much use of the "ni-ni-ni-nineteen" effect on the speech extracts and a seeming inability to lock into TODAY'S beats make these a rather embarrassing failure. His guitar work on "Mr Ego" shows Gareth to be an adept guitarist. Maybe he should stick with guitar.
