This three track single gives you nine minutes to discover the joys of one of Nashville's newest Christian country artists.  Ronnie Alsup knows how to write a snappy new country tune and pack it with exhortations from the Word of God.  The leading title track bounces along in a gentle country pop fashion with a catchy chorus that even St Paul would appreciate.  "Faith" simply lists all the things that a little faith can achieve over a lilting backing and some girly backup vocals.  The third song "Christian Light" gives a bouncing country backing with some punchy horns and a driving bass moving things along. Ronnie encourages us to let our Christian light shine as a great sax solo punctuates the proceedings.  Aspiring to be inspirational but sounding a little twee here and there.  If you're rabid about new country, this may appeal but for me, it's a little too ordinary and Ronnie Alsup isn't going to set the world alight this time around.
