Reviewed by Jamie Hailstone This is the latest in a long line of DVDs from the Bananas comedy club, which specialises in good, clean family fun. If the idea of Christian stand-up comedy makes you feel distinctly uncomfortable, then bear with me, because this is actually well worth watching. Ron has appeared on "proper" US shows like The Late Late Show, That 70s Show and Comedy Central and, prior to that, Ron was a street performer. In fact, his amazing juggling skills are still an integral part of his act. Ron's observations about family life, the French and even us English are worth listening to and frequently hilarious. The club's resident host, Thor Ramsey, is also worth hearing and the DVD comes with an interesting chat between the two men about Ron's career. The lengthy show and additional extras mean that the DVD is good value for money. As a comedian, Ron and Thor are as funny, if not funnier, than many of the bigger and cruder comics who depressingly fill UK TV schedules.
