It is a well known fact that the second album is always the hardest to make, but Rodent Emporium make a decent effort of it. Winding up the sports jock types on "Sports", dealing with celebrity in "Dead And Loving It" and destroying Lego men on "Colin" shows the improvements made in terms of musicianship and songwriting. There is some filler though, with the old school blast of "Mid-Day Madness" and the jumbled "Mandy" (not the Barry Manilow one!) failing to make the grade. The production is cleaner than the debut while the zany humour remains intact, with killer lines such as "I am a winner, don't you want to be me/A hero, like Eddie The Eagle" and "I'm uneasy that Vin Diesel rhymes with weasel." In my view not quite as strong as 'Music Without Fear Of Reprimand', but so far the joke shows no sign of wearing thin.
