Ripcord sadly played their last gig in July, but this four track CD will serve as an excellent reminder of what a fine and underrated band they were. The artwork is quite outstanding, particularly as it has been done in house, and displays a fine sense of humour. Musically, there's variety aplenty, from the out and out rock meltdown of "Until (You Give Me Wings)" to the welcome dance remix of "Cry At Your Feet". For a band with so many influences, Ripcord have managed to achieve a cohesive and focussed sound, helped by some sympathetic production. They will be sadly missed. Buy this and let the memories roll.
