American metal band Red Sea only released this one album in 1994 and then shortly after broke up. At the time, this 11-track collection gained a lot of attention. Our very own Mike Rimmer proclaimed lead singer Robin Basauri's voice as "one of the hottest in Christian music." With more than a gentle nod to '70s rock (Deep Purple, etc), this collection is a great opportunity to order a new air guitar and put it through its paces! The guitar playing of Chris Sorenson is outstanding on tracks like the opener "Soulshaker" and the title track, and will put blisters on those fingers! This anniversary addition has been remastered by Rob Colwell, giving it new life and a fresh feel and comes complete with updated artwork. It would have been great to hear some outtakes, demos and possibly some songs not included on the original here. But no matter, this is an excellent rock album from a band that deserved far more.
