California's family group Rapid Fire, featuring namely the raps of Rocky Thomas, live up to their name with an album of resounding, passionate and fast-flying deliveries as they rap for Christ. "If We Don't Praise" (from Luke 19.40) features the strong voice of Mandy Thomas on a piece of hip-hop worship while "Final Call" challenges believers to live the life. "If you a believer, this what you got to do/Tell 'em who he is and what he brought you through" goes one lyric while the slower "Dreamin' Mandy's Song" is an anthem to a beloved wife. "Divine Warrior" features seven year old Blaze Thomas. There is a range of styles, from the more bass heavy tracks like "Keep The Word Alive" featuring Flud Cavion and "Eyes Seen" featuring the double-timing Dolo Pacino through to the grooving "Does It Make You Wanna". Overall, I was very struck by the variation and heart of this album.
