The former Ramona Hutton is now Ramona Chadwick, my wife and Co-Senior Pastor of The Living Cornerstone Church in Port Orange, Florida. She is a magnificent woman of faith and wisdom! She also heads up our Praise & Worship ministry, through which she leads our people into the presence of the Lord. The highest praise I can give her is that she is truly authentic in her love for Jesus!

Ramona Hutton also had a second lp on the Benson
label; the project was named "TheChildren" and featured a recitative "The Nails" that went into Lani Wolf (or Lari Goss's) He Was Wounded for Our Transgressions". It also featured a moving version of Chi Coltrane's ("Thunder and Lightning" fame) Gospel allegory "The Tree". I do not know for certain if Ramona recorded another album though I do recall her being on at least one other album; a multiartist project upon which she she sang one of her songs. -
Ramona has a wonderful alto or mezzo soprano voice and is a very expressive singer. Her voice has a nice , warm and round sound. She recorded for Benson-Impact Records.

Looking for the words for Ramona's delightful song "Just Because (You Drive a Cadillac)" from The Children album. My old vinyl record of hers is no longer playable and I can't remember all the words. Loved it!

The opinions expressed in the Reader Comments are not necessarily those held by Cross Rhythms.
I heard Ramona Hutton in person sing this incredible Christian sing at the Atlanta First Baptist Church, Charles Stanley, around 1977. It was called “Nobody Cares Like JESUS”. I cannot find the song done by anyone else, nor is Ramona’s version uploaded online. Years ago, I had her “Good Morning” album. I am sure it was on that album.
That song touched my Soul and was incredibly beautiful. Ramona was a phenomenal great vocalist. GOD bless you.
