This collection first saw the light of day in October 2004 after Leeds-based Raindown signed to the XT3 label, and they appeared on TV in Italy in April. They also released the third track on this EP, "Crucifying You" on XT3 Television in music video form. The music here would best be described as wistful, with elements of Aztec Camera and the Icicle Works' quieter moments. Opener "Down In The Tomb" characterises the set as the vocals seem to me to be consistently flat in pitch, while "Silver Lining" fares little better. Things quieten down even more with the fragile "Crucifying You" and closer "Feel It In The Way". Overall though the songs are a little repetitive but - pitching apart - this is quite a presentable set.

Raindown's Debut was a bedroom recording which showed what
songwriting talent lies hidden. on the 15th August they
release "The Tottenham Bootleg" a six track offering of
Raindown the band - worth checking out.
