In 1999/2000 this gifted team were gigging around Britain and released this five-song EP which showed that guitarist/programmer Chris Smith and vocalist Miranda Duggan could create enjoyable pop, some with a danceable funky bass groove. I particularly liked the lyrics of "Journey Junkies" - "I am like an earthbound ET/All this madness and technology/Can surely help me in my quest/To find my techno treasure chest" - while the struggle between faith and doubt is nimbly expressed in "Daze". Worth investigating.
