Not claiming to be anymore than an ordinary girl, Rachanee, an independent artist hailing from Lansing, Michigan offers a collection of predominately easily listening pop songs with the occasional glimmer of rock in places. Differing stylistically from the album standard is the effect-laden "From Here" in which Rachanee describes the dilemma faced by many a person after graduation day as she repeatedly poses the question "Where do I go from here?", one of many real life issues touched on through Rachanne's honest and relevant songwriting. The penultimate song, also the title track, is vocally and lyrically the pick of the bunch as she tries to comprehend why one could offer such grace on a personal level. Backed only by a keyboard and double bass, the heartfelt words take prominence admitting human frailties as this ordinary girl tries to understand God's love. The music and arrangements, not trying or needing anything spectacular, are good but the most admirable thing after listening to this album is one woman's humility and heart to know more of her Saviour, a perspective sadly missing in many acts today.
