Another album from the creators of Psalty the Singing Songbook, Ernie Rettino and Debby Kerner Rettino, who have been worldwide leaders in Christian music for children since Maranatha's Kids Praise album. This album is a sample of their latest innovation - a touring praise party, which is directed at child evangelism. For those who have enjoyed the previous Kids Praise items then this latest collection will be another hit! It is alike, but in many ways different - if you get my drift. Many of the original songs pop up again, eg, "Say To The Lord", "Praise God" and "Amen, Praise The Lord" to name just three, but they are interpreted in a fresh style, with new and exciting accompaniments and enthusiastic vocals. I was thrilled by the new treatment of the old, old favourites - "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands", "This Little Light Of Mine" and even that old Sunday School song "I've Got The Joy, Joy..." which normally I would not even pretend to want to hear. But full marks again to Psalty's Kids Co team for a winner. Apparently this is the soundtrack of a video which I'm determined to show to my children before long.
