A glorious extravaganza of colour, music and fun, filmed at a 58:00 concert before a big audience of children and parents. The sheer amount of creative talent and hard slog that's gone into this is breathtaking. Ernie Rettino's delightful role of Psalty the Singing Songbook is backed by a stunning array of puppets, special effects and the visually brilliant "Gift Of Praise Boxes". Audience involvement sees groups of children brought on stage, as well as the sure-fire winner of making a small group of parents look a bit silly in front of the kids. Most of the songs are established favourites, and the programme's climax is a very sensitive, careful appeal for all ages to receive Jesus. A superb and quite moving video that earns my vote as the alltime No 1 "for kids of all ages" award. Extremely good.
