The best one-liner is when Psalty shares with his audience "You know, you can sing Christian songs 'til you're blue in the face." The kids in the audience cracked up. If you don't it's probably because you've never encountered the walking-talking-singing bright blue songbook that is Psalty. A whole heap of Ernie and Debbie Rettino-penned praise songs are performed with Psalty and various puppets not only miming the songs but also acting out a simple story about a grumpy rat who tries to wreck the Praise Party. Some of the puppets look like they were "borrowed" from Sesame Street and the Rettino's music is beginning to show its age. But tiny tots will fine it funtastic.
