Psalty is a Christian children's album winner - the kind of character only America would dare bring us - a talking Bible who has various adventures. Colby (a talking computer) is my kid's favourite, but that's another story. This set of simple Scripture song sing-alongs is interspersed with dramatisations of Bible stories which eschew any hint of old time Sunday School teach but crammed as they are with colloquial Americanese and actors who try too hard to turn every voice into a 'character' do come across as a trifle 'cutesy'. But still, an enjoyable enough album for the under eights.
