Well, here's some great news for all you fans who were no doubt devastated when the Thumbs disbanded last year -they're back! Yes, it's true and here's the first offering, a two track cassette single, to prove it. An album release is pending too. The two tracks here are titled "Gone" and "Mary". A good sound with a harder edge than previous days with a good standard of private recording emphasising quality musicianship. It's a real shame the vocals do not match. The sound is fine but some of the lyrics are difficult to hear and to be quite honest even that which is audible makes little or no sense whatsoever leaving the listener wondering what either song was about. No doubt this will be rectified on the album.
