The opener the old Hosanna Music song "We Rejoice In The Grace Of God" was a bit bland for my taste but soon we're into punchier sounds with a decidedly funky groove being kicked up on Mark Altrogge's "This I Know" while throughout there's some tasty guitar from Amy's axe man Jerry McPherson. What always raises People Of Destiny out of the mire into which a lot of easy listening and soft pop praise and worship sink is the quality of the songs and this batch from Mark Altrogge, Bob Kauflin and Steve And Vikki Cook is excellent.
