With a picture of a Labrador on the front, and the man and his dog on the back, you could be forgiven for thinking this was a rather tame MOR offering. Nothing could be further from the truth. The 10 tracks on this 2003 album from a talented American singer/songwriter combines intelligent lyrics on the theme of Christian living with, in many cases, a strong pop rock beat, much in the style of Steven Curtis Chapman. The album starts with a hint of Pinball Wizardry, and driving acoustic guitar on "That's What Life Is For" and continues with the joyous and positive title track. Other standout tracks are "Hallel", "The Reason We Live", the reflective "Overwhelmed" and Peder shows his worship leader credentials well on "Your Name". Recorded in Nashville, the album has the usual polished quality of a US production. A nice touch are the notes on the CD sleeve with references and the reasons for writing each of the songs. What a ride, indeed.
