This is a two-track single with some good music programming, in a hard house kind of style, from the computer of teenager Paulmarie. The first track, called "Cold Cold Night" is a seasonal song about Mary and Joseph looking for a place to stay, and how we also need to search to find meaning in Christmas. The sentiment is good, but the lyrics aren't particularly poetic and the singing leaves a lot to be desired. The second song, "It's What I Am" also suffers from passionless vocals which distracts the listener from the backing music, which has strong rhythms, good use of sounds, and catchy riffs. Given a good song with a strong vocalist, Paulmarie could become a remixer to be reckoned with.
