This is the songsmith's follow up to his big selling debut and continues his association with producer Christopher Stevens who builds some really cool sounds around Paul's acoustic guitar-based songs. With an infusion of hip-hop and some great poppy hooks and melodies this is definitely a feel good album. The album moves seamlessly from the catchy summer tunes of opener "Heaven" and title track "From Sunrise To Sunset" through the hip-hop of "Acoustic Rhymes" to the reggae of "Resurrection". The lyrics, in keeping with the laid back style, are immediate and faith-filled but do lack in any real depth. Having said that, the catchy melodies and occasionally striking production mean that this will get loads of airplay and will give real summer feelings even in the middle of the winter.
