After 20 years singing in clubs, Paul has now become very successful at selling his tapes in market places that he has virtually stopped touring. With a voice that has had him coming on like Britain's answer to Jim Reeves, Paul has now begun to get regular airplay on Radio 2. This brand new 20 track album features a really good selection of old country and pop standards. The backing is more country than on previous albums, not much gospel here, but as with much good country music, plenty of references to home and family life. A very nice album.
