This is a very good offering from one of the Survivor stable of gifted writers and performers. Recorded live at Manchester Evening News Arena and Stoneleigh this is power pop praise at its best. Songs that lift the spirit and move the feet. For me, the highlights are "Fire" and "Unashamed", both great tunes with full-on praise at the centre. Also great is the almost obligatory "Jesus Friend Of Sinners" which has become a praise classic (the kids in my youth group think so!). This is a showcase of some of the finest contemporary songwriting available to the Church today - and sound Biblical ministry as well. The young guy at my local Christian bookshop in Reading also rates this album highly! If you liked Paul's 'Kiss The River' album you will love this. If you like Matt Redman, Martin Layzell or Tim Hughes you will not be disappointed with this. A very good album, strong musicianship and well produced by Martin Cooper (also guitarist in the band). Do your soul a favour - buy this album.
