Six tracks produced in the North East by Yfriday’s Dez Minto and with a strong Celtic folk slant. There’s a lot of this kind of music about, so anything to be added to the canon has to be really special to make any impact. Despite the strong production and playing, this doesn’t do that. Paul’s vocal is too weak to give the songs any personality and the overall effect, despite some nice moments on “Yours Is The Kingdom”, is a little flat and one-dimensional. Pity.
