PEPA stands for Practical Effective Performing Arts, and this tape's raison d'etre is to raise funds for an orphanage in Sri Lanka. An eclectic mix of African rhythms ("Arawade" could be straight out of The Ladysmith Black Mambazo Songbook), pop, R&B and acoustic roots held together by the soulful lead vocals of Vanessa Freeman and the less impressive vocals of Aaron Sokell. This is an entertaining listen, and despite its brevity, is worth a listen.
