It was with great excitement that I got this, the Pigs second. The debut, 'Smash' was a riotous romp through the moshing and thrashing twilight world of Austin Texas, club-land and their zany lyrics could crack you up while giving you food for much thought. This eagerly awaited follow-up delivers in every way. The bellowed vocals, the angry denouncements of sin, the frantic speed-metal tempos. And just listen to all those guest musicians who join in: David Mullen, Phil Keaggy, Jag and Dann Huff (ex-White Heart, now with Giant). Petra's Bob Hartman is present to play on the 'Pigs' cover of the classic Petra hit "Judas' Kiss". The other cover, "Christmas Time" was written by the father of Christian rock, Larry Norman. Brilliant. Buy it now.
