Let's face it. Most musical tributes are so guaranteed to remove the enamel from your teeth that I was distinctly reluctant to listen to this. I was stunned when I did. The veteran gospel diva shows that she not only has one of the most satisfyingly soulful voices in the British Church, but she also raps here with a power and confidence I'd never previously suspected. Hear it on Cross Rhythms radio - and not just on Mother's Day.
