This live disc recorded at the NewSong Festival in South Africa seems to have the signature of the Holy Spirit on it, Warm-up song “Here We Are” declares a cry for renewal in the hearts of the people and the restoration of the nations to God. “All That You Are” sounds very fresh; with the beatbox drum loops and effect-laden guitar sounds. It is a song declaring once again just who Christ is to be in our lives. “You Will Remain” declares the steadfast presence of God. This is the theme of this worship CD. ‘You Will Remain’ is full of the same heartfelt expressions of God. The worship leaders here seem to be genuinely anointed as worship songwriters. Vineyard Music continues to share with the world excellent music that glorifies God in its creativity. The excellent musicians, using tact and brilliant taste only serve to glorify the Lord more. That said; it’s the instrumental arrangements that make this album stand out. “You Will Remain” is repeated in a worshipful new arrangement at the end of the CD, reminding us again who God is. There are a handful of usable songs and as a nice bonus, this CD includes chord charts and overhead masters.

You Will Remain was recorded live at the NewSong Festival held at Hartenbos, South Africa. The NewSong Festival is an annual youth event, featuring great live worshi p, some of the best Christian bands and workshops. It is held at a seaside resort on the Southern Coast of South Africa.

The festival is organized under the auspices of the Association of Vineyard Churches (SA) and is managed and overseen by a board that includes people from other church groups who are involved in the event.

You Will Remain captures the live worship at the event that has been inspiring young people for the last four years. The songs from the album are an anthem of God's unchanging nature in our constantly changing world. The songs are written for God and to God and express the earnest desire of the current generation to reach out to God and ponder on His nature.

In the midst of uncertainty & turmoil, God remains our anchor & hope. The new worship songs from You Will Remain reminds us of God's unchanging love in a constantly changing world. He alone is our Salvation.
