The enigmatically-named Nai from Newark, New Jersey arrived on the scene last year with this five-track 'pre-release'; (what this precedes is currently unclear from her website and social media). She looks a bit like Jennifer Knapp, sounds a bit like Jennifer Lopez and seems to have links with Latin American culture ('Believe' was produced by Efrain "Juanito" Davila and features musicians Erben Perez, Mario Guini and Andee Zeta) but apart from a funky rhythm to the title track, musically she's much more middle of the road than the 'contemporary/funk' categorisation that her Facebook page claims for her. "Hear My Voice" and "Shield Of Victory" stylistically are '80s soft rock anthems, the latter a declaration taking its cue from Paul's armour of God metaphor in Ephesians 6. "Forgive Me Lord" and "With You" are confessional ballads, each expressing a deep desire to draw closer to the Lord.
