'Dare 2 Worship' is the first live recording from these Lincolnshire rock evangelists. Culled from a worship set during the monthly Dare2 youth events held at their home church in Sleaford, this album perfectly captures the atmosphere generated among the young people that {My Kurios} come into contact with in the local community. There is a real sense of celebration throughout the recording, with a rousing version of "Dancing Generation" and the driving rhythm of "Glorious King" demonstrating the passion these young people have for praising God. There is also room for a quiet and reflective approach during "From The Inside Out" and the female vocals on "Nothing But The Blood" is an encouragement to young girls in the audience with aspirations to sing. "Thief" is introduced as an opportunity to accept the chance of a new start through a personal relationship with God regardless of your past, which is what {My Kurios} and Dare2 is all about. The penultimate worship chorus of "Awesome God" brings the whole occasion together nicely as everyone in attendance joins as one to sing praises. Overall this is an excellent live recording and a good introduction for young people needing to discover modern worship.
