Another energetic project from the live wire that is Murk this 2014 album shows the lady rapper's abilities with a rolling and raw flow and with some Missy Elliot-style accompaniments. Testifying to how the Devil was pushed out when "Jesus got in the ring" ("Blind Battle") seems an accurate overview of the album as Murk spars and throws lyrical punches out at the Enemy and to reclaim the ground in her own life (most obviously in "K.O." and "P31"). However, Murk also shows an ability as a storyteller and picture painting MC in tracks like "Got Me Choosin". From the rolling tracks to the dirty south boomers like "Another Level", Murk is on point... Hip-hop for the car, the neighbourhood and the streets.
